TJ obtained her Master's in Physical Therapy from California State University Northridge in 2014. She enhanced her skills by completing a year-long orthopedic residency program at Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills. As a result, she became a board-certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). TJ pursued a transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Arcadia University to further her expertise.

In 2016, TJ relocated with her family from Los Angeles to Portland, where she dedicated seven years of her career to working at the Tualatin clinic of Kaiser Permanente. She has gained extensive experience working with diverse patient populations throughout her professional journey. However, her primary focus lies in orthopedic conditions and post-operative care.

Before embarking on her career as a physical therapist, TJ spent a decade as an environmental planner. However, her passion for helping others and seeking personal growth led her to switch careers. She finds fulfillment in assisting individuals on their path to recovery and well-being.

Outside of her professional life, TJ enjoys spending time outdoors. She embraces an active lifestyle, whether hiking, wake surfing, or walking her dogs in the neighborhood. TJ recognizes the importance of movement and incorporates daily strength training and yoga into her routine to maintain balance and mental well-being. Above all, she cherishes quality time with her husband and two daughters.
